Teddi Mellencamp is moving forward with her recovery after undergoing surgery to remove four brain tumors. The 43-year-old Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star shared a positive update on her recovery journey with a selfie on Instagram on February 28.

“Staples out and ready for radiation,” Mellencamp captioned the photo, where she smiles at the camera while lying down. Her hair, which had been shaved for the surgery, appeared much darker than her usual blonde. Fellow RHOBH star Kyle Richards commented, “Gorgeous as ever!!! 🤩💪🏼🩷,” while Marysol Patton from Miami added, “Prettiest patient, I love the buzz cut!! ❤️❤️.” Cynthia Bailey and Tamra Judge also shared words of encouragement for her continued recovery.

Teddi Mellencamp Shares Update After Surgery for Brain Tumors

Earlier in February, Mellencamp revealed that she had been experiencing severe headaches, leading to hospitalization. After undergoing a CT scan and MRI, doctors discovered multiple brain tumors, some of which had been growing for several months. She underwent surgery to remove two of the tumors, with radiation planned for the remaining smaller ones. However, the surgery ended up removing four tumors in total, twice as many as originally anticipated.

Mellencamp expressed her gratitude for the support from her family, friends, doctors, and nurses throughout this challenging time. She continued to update her followers on her recovery process, including a video shared on Instagram Stories showing the removal of her surgical staples on February 26.

Despite filing for divorce from Edwin Arroyave in November 2024, after 13 years of marriage, Mellencamp’s husband was by her side throughout the surgery. He shared his gratitude for the love and support she has received during her recovery.

In her social media posts, Mellencamp thanked her loved ones for their support, patience, and laughter, saying, “This fight is not over, but that round has been won.” She also expressed appreciation for the outpouring of love and prayers, which are helping her stay strong as she moves into the next phase of her treatment.
