Influencers on social media claim they were approached by individuals identified as private investigators to discuss their content about Sean “Diddy” Combs, who faces sex crime-related charges.
It’s important to note that no official sources have confirmed these individuals were actual investigators.
This development coincides with federal prosecutors accusing the music mogul of attempting to influence the potential jury pool for his case.
Internet personality Amala Ekpunobi shared on her social media that two men, claiming to be investigators, visited her previous residence looking for her.
She said on TikTok: “They were coming to ask me whether I was or not being paid to talk about P. Diddy and his connection to other celebrities on my show… They did not immediately disclose that they were private investigators. I had to hoax that out of them after being quite hostile throughout the conversation but they kept bringing up the content that I made about P. Diddy and his connection to other celebrities.”
Ekpunobi further alleged that the men mentioned visiting other influencers “to figure out whether or not they are being paid by a specific entity” to post about Diddy. She also claimed that they offered her more money than what other parties were allegedly paying her to share opposing narratives about him.
Social media users have since reacted to the claims, with one commenting: “The Diddy stuff just keeps on getting more true. Some celebrity is definitely super nervous to be sending private investigators to influencers houses.”
Other comments speculated on the reasons behind the visits. An X user wrote: “If true… must mean some so called famous people do not want this to get out.”
Another added: “They also offered to pay them more to post positive tweets about Diddy…. I don’t buy it. It’s pure intimidation tactics. Call the police and report them for harassment.”
