In a bold and colorful fashion move, Hilton, 43, wore a red floral minidress by Oscar de la Renta. She accessorized with matching red shoes and a red clutch.

Richie, 43, stuck to understated elegance in a long black backless leather dress, which she paired with black heels.

This is the pair’s first time attending the glam affair together (Hilton has never attended while Richie has gone twice — in 2005 and 2013) and they presented the American Accessory Designer of the Year award during tonight’s ceremony to Raul Lopez of Luar, hosted by Cynthia Erivo and honoring Erykah Badu among several other fashion luminaries.

It’s been quite the year for the Simple Life pair, who had a busy summer filming a reboot for the show, which premiered 11 years ago.

Not a lot of details have been shared about the two’s return to the small screen, but photos of them working at a Sonic Drive-In and matching in pageant looks (surprisingly done on separate occasions) have hinted at the possible antics fans can expect from their comeback.
