Justin Timberlake Cancels Final U.S. Tour Show Due to Illness: ‘It Kills Me’
Justin Timberlake has been forced to cancel the final stop of his Forget Tomorrow World Tour in the U.S. due to health reasons.
Just hours before his scheduled performance in Columbus, Ohio, on Thursday, February 27, the SexyBack singer, 44, took to Instagram to share the disappointing news with his fans.
“You guys, I’m heartbroken. I have to cancel the show tonight,” Timberlake said in his message. He explained that he had been battling the flu and, despite pushing through, his condition had worsened.
“It kills me to disappoint you and my team who worked so hard to make this show happen. I want to reassure you, you’ll be getting refunds for your tickets. I love you all,” he concluded. No further details were provided.
Fans expressed their support and understanding, with one commenting, “I flew in from California, but you know what… your health comes first. True fans know that. Love you. Feel better.”
This Columbus show had already been postponed once before in late October when Timberlake was diagnosed with bronchitis and laryngitis. At the time, he informed fans via Instagram:
“Hey guys – I haven’t been feeling great the last few shows, and turns out I have bronchitis and laryngitis. I’m so sorry to say I do need to reschedule the next few shows from 10/23 through 11/2. New dates listed above. Thank you for understanding – I’ll make it up to you ❤️🩹 – JT.”
Timberlake first announced the Forget Tomorrow World Tour during a January 2024 appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, where he also debuted his single Selfish and revealed the title of his upcoming album.
