Please save this hungry stray dog with a jar stuck in his head who hadn’t eaten anything for weeks until he was rescued and burst into tears of joy.

Every day, they scavenge for food in the neighborhood, often rummaging through garbage bins.

Stray dogs often experience trauma and fear due to hunger and being left on their own, which makes them wary of humans.

The rescuer couldn’t tell how long the jar had been on her head when they found the skinny dog running around.

The rescuer was certain that this poor dog had been hungry and thirsty for a long time.

Thankfully, other rescuers arrived to help the dog.

A fresh start in a foster home

The rescuers made the decision to take the dog to a foster home and carefully remove the jar from her head. Finally, the jar came loose, and the dog was able to eat and drink without any hindrance.

However, because of the past trauma and mistreatment from people, she is scared to get close to humans.

Initially, she would hide in the bathroom and refuse to eat.

Dealing with people was really tough for her.

The great thing about the people in foster care is that they didn’t rush the dog into mingling with them right away.

But, in the end, she was ready!

One day, this dog discovered that the dog bed was comfy for sleeping.

She even hopped on the couch to rest there.

She also felt ready to eat food and drink plenty of water.

Oh, and by the way, her rescuers gave her the name Winnie!
