Often at risk of violence and danger, stray dogs face compromising their safety and security by mingling around human beings. That being said, it’s always a nice change of pace to see kindness being extended to these vulnerable creatures.
One kind aunty seems to be paving the way and highlighting this necessity in a TikTok video posted by fashion model Shane Selim to her TikTok account In the video, the aunty can be seen buying multiple packets of pastries at a stall. After completing her purchase, the woman sees a cute stray dog standing next to her, wagging his tail and looking at her.
Realising that the pup was hungry, the aunty picked out one of the pastries in the display cabinet of the store and purchased it. Taking the item out of its bag after buying it, the aunty then placed said pastry on the floor for the dog to nibble at. Without hesitating, the hungry dog, grateful for her kind act, immediately starts to eat it.
In a brief conversation with WORLD OF BUZZ, Shane revealed that the video was captured in Dipolog City, the capital of the province of Zamboanga del Norte in the Philippines.
“Our love for animals, especially dogs. I hope many people will love them and be kind to them, not abuse them, especially stray animals,” wrote Shane in the caption of her post.
Receiving immense praise for her kind action, many people commented on the video praising the aunty for going the extra mile and spending her money to buy food for the stray dog.
“Bless her. I hope that fur kid finds a forever home,” penned one commenter.
