“The Bold Wild Buffalo’s Hasty Charge at the Rhino Ended in a Dramatic Overturn.”

October 20, 2023 by Cong Danh

When we were traveling in the Kariega reserve, South Africa, we saw a rhinoceros confronting a buffalo, so we stopped the car to record this rare footage.

It seems that the rhino has violated the territory of the buffalo herd, so the leading buffalo bravely stood up to fight for the sovereignty of the whole herd.

At first, the battle seemed very aggressive and balanced from both sides, although the buffalo was somewhat inferior in size but did not give up, constantly butting the rhinoceros to fall behind.

But at this time the rhinoceros showed its fighting strength, constantly butting towards the buffalo, the butts caused the buffalo to jump high and lie on its back on the ground.

Those butts scared the buffalo and had to run away to his herd, not wanting to approach the rhinoceros anymore.
