Justin Bieber has shared an introspective message on social media, addressing life, expectations, and personal growth amid recent concerns about his health.
On Saturday, March 8, the 31-year-old singer posted a cryptic note on his Instagram Stories, written in all caps against a plain white background.
“We have nothing to prove today,” he wrote, setting the post to Stevie Wonder’s 1976 song Sir Duke. “Just the gift of life today to accept and receive. Nothing is owed to us and we don’t owe anyone anything. ♥️”
This post follows weeks of speculation surrounding Bieber’s health and well-being, with some fans expressing concern over perceived changes in his appearance and behavior. In February, rumors began circulating that the singer was struggling with drug use, prompting a statement from a source close to Bieber and his wife, Hailey Baldwin Bieber.
On Feb. 23, a member of the couple’s team addressed the speculation, calling the rumors “false” and “exhausting.” They noted that Justin had undergone a “transformative” year, cutting ties with certain friendships and business relationships that “no longer served him.” Instead, he has been focusing on his family, health, and artistic pursuits.
The Peaches singer, who welcomed his first child, Jack Blues, with Hailey in August 2024, previously posted a similarly cryptic message about personal growth and faith on Feb. 20. In that post, he reflected on change, writing, “It’s time to grow up! Changing is about letting go! Not trying harder!” The message continued with a discussion of love, rules, and his trust in God to guide him.
Despite the swirling speculation, sources close to Bieber insist that he is in a good place. A recent insider told PEOPLE that Justin is “doing well” and focusing on what matters most: his wife, son, and music.
“Justin has a few priorities that he focuses on every day — Hailey, baby Jack, and new music. This is his life now, and he loves it,” the source said. “He’s working at his own pace and spending as much time with his family as he can.”
Bieber recently celebrated his 31st birthday with a “fun, relaxing getaway” at an Idaho ranch, surrounded by his loved ones.
